The Catholic Charities Appeal for 2012 begins this coming weekend. This appeal makes possible numerous ministries for individuals throughout the Archdiocese. During these difficult economic times, many charities depend on this annual collection to provide much needed services. As our parish continues to grow, we have a responsibility to assist with meeting these needs. I ask every parishioner to contribute $5 more to this collection this year. If you have never contributed, I ask that you give $5 this year. If you have contributed in the past, I ask that you increase your contribution by $5. I think that these simple steps can have a great impact on Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish's participation in this important collection.
